The responsibility of the director is to bring the script to the stage, turn words into life, and abstraction into concreteness. The designer is the director of the space. Shanghai Aiwei Design, led by the designer Shi Liang, is responsible for Beijing Xishan Yang Mansion. Taking time and space as the guidance, focusing on the residents, adding forward-looking philosophy of life, creating a modern, simple and fashionable Luxurious poetic residence.
The owner clearly understands that the living experience in the next ten years, the diverse needs of family members, and even the degree of satisfaction of office and hospitality attributes are all important factors affecting happiness. After communicating with six designers successively and interrupting the design, they finally agreed with Shanghai Ai Wei Design to build a pure and comfortable place of rest.

Designer Shiliang equipped the second basement floor with a social art lounge, a professional audio-visual room, classified cloakrooms, storage rooms, and guest bathrooms by sorting out functions, planning moving lines, and connecting the entire logic. While meeting social needs, it also provides a leisure and entertainment place for family members.

The porch is like a crystal palace, with glass doors that are high on all sides, dividing the interior and exterior hazyly, exaggerating the sense of mystery. The opening and closing conversion of each group of doors can realize the division of different functional areas. The hidden storage cabinets built around this are designed to meet the growing storage needs of the residents. The metal mesh outlines the outline of the spiral staircase, which makes people yearn for it.

Pacing forward, a touch of red jumps out immediately. The dim lighting is just right, and everyone gathers around the stove to taste wine and talk, and inspiration and creativity come naturally. The paintings are also ingenious, using infinitely extended flowers to reflect the thriving thinking consciousness, turning illusion into real objects, adding a different kind of interest.

The audio-visual room dilutes the spatial attributes with simplicity and purity, and the fusion of materials, lighting and art creates a luxurious atmosphere permeating it, bringing a better look and feel.

The negative floor is ingenious, using the patio to create a small ecological scene, and flexibly using the changes in materials, lines, colors, and light and shadows to compose the beauty of harmonious rhythm.

After in-depth communication and understanding, the designer Shi Liang matched the hobbies of the residents and planned leisure areas such as tea drinking, reading, skylight piano room, and multi-functional combined suites, emphasizing interaction and connectivity to improve the quality of home.

The leisure area uses elegant black and white, with fresh, natural, soft and comfortable furnishings. In the open interaction and framed scene design, the boundary is diluted to accommodate the tastes of life.

Light, spilling from the skylight, the piano seems to be covered with stars, playing wonderful music. The hanging painting “Waiting for the Light to Come in” echoes the atmosphere of the venue, making this corner even more dazzling. As a continuation of cultivating sentiment, the reading area creates an elegant and peaceful place by borrowing scenery and warm texture.

The tea drinking area adopts the opening design of the building, which combines square and circle, echoing the round sky and place in oriental culture. The setting of the skylight facilitates the introduction of sunlight into the room, while the metal woven screen at the opening plays a role of shielding. As time goes by, the angle of illumination changes accordingly. The light and shadow seem to become the palette of nature, depicting a picture An interesting and warm picture scroll.

The distinguished treatment is fully displayed in the guest room, and with this as the center, the surrounding space can be flexibly combined to form a resort-style suite with natural plant landscape, pool and sauna.

The stairs use black and white lines to extend up and down, as if ink and wash flow, interpreting the connection and level changes of the field.

Diversified living scenes are placed on the first floor, and the living room, dining room, Chinese and Western kitchens, and sunshine gym are planned. A green planting area and a BBQ terrace are added outdoors, where you can move, sit, sleep, eat and live. Every detail is not missed, in order to restore the most suitable for people. Living place of rest.

The living room abandons tediousness, and highlights the material and craftsmanship itself with a simple and elegant base. The expression form of the carpet and the texture of the marble echo the whole and deduce various levels, giving the occupants a rich sensory experience.

The cooking and dining room provides people with artistic connection and aesthetic edification. Various display methods are used to enhance the style of the restaurant. The ink painting expressed in modern techniques continues here as an oriental element. The circular arc and the square are in dialogue, and various lighting embellishments add a sense of fashion invisibly, leaving fragrance on the lips and teeth, and a visual feast.

The natural texture of marble is embedded in metal to create a unique public health texture, which is fashionable and individual.
Bedroom

The interpretation of quality housing is integrated into every square inch. The bedroom is placed on the upper floor as a safe haven for the body and mind. Designer Shi Liang seeks tranquility in the style in a restrained way, so as to realize the privacy of the territory without being disturbed. And carefully reconcile the relationship between the residents, the field and nature, deduce infinite ingenuity in a limited space, and expand more possibilities.

The warm and moist style blends the oriental connotation, with multi-layer grayscale and coffee color interwoven, and the gentle arc collides with plain and clean materials, outlining a bit of leisure in the elderly room, presenting an ideal state of tranquility.

Considering the variability of space and time extensibility, a multi-function room is provided on the second floor. The adjustable invisible bed can achieve functional conversion under different needs, transforming into a children’s entertainment area during the day and a nanny room at night to accompany young children in their daily lives. Two doors are cleverly arranged on one side of the room to connect with the elderly’s room, providing both interactivity and privacy.

The years are quiet and pleasant, and there seems to be a rhythm flowing in the master bedroom. The cloakroom, jewelry cabinet, Buddha hall, and luxurious bathroom constitute a complete functional area. With warm and soft colors, smooth and open movement lines, and a reasonably planned terrace, the indoor and outdoor areas are integrated. The sun, moon, and stars are at four o’clock and eight o’clock, and the best scenery can be included.

The flexible and meaningful main bathroom is paved with marble, releasing the warm natural beauty, rich light sense, and comfortable visual presentation. It is created with the warmth of the bathtub and fireplace, giving a higher quality and ritual feeling.

There may be thousands of expressions in interior design, but when implemented, it is ultimately to create a home that best suits the personality and temperament of the occupants. This five-story villa carries the expectations of family members for their future lives. The design team of Shi Liang and Ai Wei, with their flexible and variable layout, complete functional zoning, and natural and artistic embellishments, depicts the habitat that residents yearn for. As time flies, there are numerous personnel, and both soul and love are dependent.
